About Nathan Tubergen
IT Manager focused on workflow automation, secure systems, and community-centered technology.

About Me
My name is Nathan Tubergen, and I hail from Hamilton, Michigan. I attended Grand Valley State University, where I initially pursued Engineering before discovering a deeper passion for Technology and Systems.
Along the way, I picked up a few creative hobbies that keep me curious and hands-on: 3D modeling & printing, laser engraving, and disc golf.
I’m married to Annie, the love of my life, and we share our home in Grand Rapids with two very good dogs. After more than a decade in the area, I’ve built a real connection to this mid-sized city — from the downtown murals to the view from the blue bridge over the Grand River.
Since graduating, I’ve deepened my expertise in IT systems and cybersecurity — while also learning the ins and outs of non-profit management and operations. I love working in the non-profit sphere because it lets me use technology as a force for good: helping mission-driven teams serve their communities more effectively, rather than optimizing for profit alone.
